THESE ARE  ANIMALS THAT

WE HELP THE PUBLIC TO RE-HOME!

We would ask people to please give a Donation to Cottage Rescue for helping to find a home for your Animals to help us with the costs involved in the running of the Rescue.

It takes us time to edit and upload pictures and details of your Animal on our site!

We would also ask the same of the people that adopt these Animals to please consider giving us a Donation as well.

All money goes directly into the Care of Animals in our Rescue.

And PLEASE let us know when your Animal is Re-homed and we can removed him/her from our site!

Because the public will be ringing your phone looking for an Animal that is no longer available.

The following Animals are not in our Rescue and therefore we are not responsible for them!

They are homed directly from their home or may be strays that members of the public have taken in and you must phone the owner/minder directly.

We only advertise them on the site as part of our service to the public, all Vaccinations, Worming etc will be up to the new owner, we do advise and will help in funding to Neuter these Animals if we have not all ready done so.

ADOPTION FORMS WILL NOT BE GIVEN with these Animals and NO MONEY should be paid.

If things do not work out with the Animal you must then get back in touch with the owner and not us.

Contact phone number is included with each Animal…………

Please ring that number and not us!

A DOGS SOUL

Every dog must have a soul somewhere deep inside where all his hurts and grievances are buried with his pride.

Where he decides the good and bad, the wrong way from the right and where his judgement carefully is hidden from our sight.

A dog must have a secret place where every thought abides, a sort of close acquaintance that he trusts in and confides.

And when accused unjustly for himself, he cannot speak, rebuked, he finds within his soul the comfort he must seek.

He'll love, though he is unloved and he'll serve though badly used and one kind word will wipe away the times when he's abused.

Although his heart may break in two his love will still be whole, because God gave to every dog,

An understanding soul!

                                    CHUCK    ( Please ring the owner direct on  087 914 9060 )

Chuck is a male Rabbit who came from a pet shop so he is naturally shy, but very, very sweet.

He is a Lion head so his coat will need some care with grooming, but due to his nature his owner thinks he would make a great first rabbit for someone.

He can be seen in Oola, Co Tipperary.

IZZIE and LOLA  ( Please ring the owner direct on  087 914 9060 )

Izzie and Lola are 2 females Rabbits that were hand reared by their owner because their mum died.

They were two years old last February 21st. Neither of them have been spayed but they haven't been bred from and the owner would prefer for it to stay that way.

They have been together since birth and are very attached to each other so they will have to be rehomed together.

They can be seen in Oola, Co Tipperary.

                              RIO

Rio is a lovely Blue Merle Collie Cross and this is what his lovely minder has to say about him.

"The family that adopted him as an eight week old puppy didn't realise the amount of space and stimulation a collie needs and so although he has been treated extremely well, he became too wound up and lively for them to handle in their small town home. However, although he's a bit giddy, he is exceptionally good with cats (just ask my Dylan who spent yesterday evening sharing his bed with Rio) and young children, having been reared with both. He is a lovely dog, both in looks and temperament and sadly, it's through no fault of his own that he is now in need of a new home.

If anyone might be interested in offering this beaut his forever home or simply having a chance to meet him in the flesh, please contact me on 086 2138 152

Rio is 7 months old, Microchipped, fully vaccinated, neutered and only yesterday has been given a clean bill of health from a vet."

Our dogs will only be homed to secure gardens or yards.

BRAN and DAISY    ( Please ring the owner direct on:  087 914 9060 )

Bran & Daisy are six years Collies types old and are brother and sister and this what their owner has to say about them.

They are wonderful dogs - friendly, loving and fun and great with children. They are in and out of the house during the day and great with children, even babies. We used to walk them daily in nearby fields but a recent ban on all dog walking there means they are not getting walked enough and we don't feel their quality of life is what it could be. We would love to see them re-homed somewhere they have enough space to run around so any countryside home or farm would be great.  They are fully vaccinated and both are Neutered.

We are happy to transport them and will also supply their bowls and leads. They would be an asset to any home.

Please ring the owner direct on  087 914 9060 They can be seen in Co Kildare area.
