Cottage Rescue Catteryis also a private home, and so we operate on an appointment only basis.

We do not have opening hours and any visit must be arranged with us first. 

We do welcome you to come and meet the Cat/Kitten you are interested in and will arrange a time for this when you call us.

We take in many cats and kittens that are needing new homes. All cats are Vaccinated, Wormed, treated for Fleas and Spayed/Neutered before being rehomed...adult cats make WONDERFUL pets as we already know what sort of personality they have. So please consider giving an adult cat a home.

Our kittens are homed when they are over 9 weeks of age and they will have been wormed, treated for fleas and will have had their first vaccination. If we have them long enough they are spayed or neutered at the age of four months. We really prefer to home kittens in pairs but will let them go individually if they will have company in their new home.

                             LIBBY

Libby is a 2 year old female cat and she came into the rescue on 20/03/10 heavily pregnant. Her kittens Stan and Ollie were born the next day, a week later three orphans came into the rescue, Fionn, Conn and Aoife, they were roughly the same age as Libby's own babies, she was introduced to them and took to them immediately increasing her family to five. Libby is a lovely cat, she has been an excellent mother she now deserves the chance of a loving home of her own. She is very affectionate and loves her fuss. Stan, Ollie and Aoife have all been adopted. Fionn and Conn are  8 weeks  old and also looking for a new home preferably together as Conn is quite small and loves his brother to bits!!!!. Libby will be spayed before she leaves the rescue.

                               LULU

Lulu is a 10 month old cat and she is a lovely black marble cat who is really hard to photograph, she came into the rescue on 8/04/10 after her previous owners had moved house and left her behind pregnant. This pic of Lulu had her four babies in the cattery was taken on the 28/04/10.

She is a really loving little cat who is still a baby herself. She was obviously loved at some point as she loves being in your arms and cuddled. She is a really great mum but as soon as the kittens are weaned she will be spayed. She is also wormed and fully vaccinated. She will be available to go to her new home around 25th of June.

Her babies will be ready to be rehomed from 23rd June.
